AuditBase integration at Odense University Hospital, Denmark

In spring 2007, the University Hospital in Odense, Denmark, decided to initiate the integration between COSMIC electronic patient journal system and AuditBase System provided by Auditdata A/S. The integration went live on 27 August, 2007.

The integration is an ”interface-integration” with single sign-on. By simple means, any user of the COSMIC system is able to retrieve and view audiograms stored in AuditBase System. The system look-up is generated on the basis of context, hence the patient managed in the COSMIC system is automatically the one retrieved and presented in AuditBase. This integration is specifically valued in clinic settings as it is fast, reliable and complies with all [Danish] regulations.
