Yes! The application has been designed to ensure you are made aware if the WL REM disconnects and to ensure measurements are accurate. To ensure the best experience, it is recommended to use the WL REM so there is a clear line of sight between the WL REM and the fitting unit. The closer the WL REM is to the fitting unit, the more stable the measurement will be. ## Can I use the wireless REM probe with my existing Measure fitting unit? Serial numbers above 331xxxxx support WL REM. Serial numbers below 331xxxxx will not support WL. ## Do I need additional software or licenses to go wireless? A wireless license is required to unlock wireless capabilities in your fitting unit. With our new license handling, this can be added automatically by your application when you connect your wireless ready fitting unit. The Auditdata representative will help you obtain a wireless license. ## I already have a wired REM probe. Can I connect both the wired and wireless REM probe to my system? Yes. At the start of the REM or SM measurement, the user can choose to use either the WL REM or Wired REM. ## Is there a risk my WL REM will connect to the wrong FU? No, to pair the WL REM it must be placed very close to the fitting unit. Once the WL REM is paired to the fitting unit, when it is switched on it will only try to connect to the paired fitting unit. ## Can I replace the battery myself? No, this can only be done by Auditdata/approved Auditdata service providers. ## What is the battery life? The wireless REM probe can be used continuously for more than 5 hours before charging is necessary. For your convenience, we recommend you store the REM probe in the designated charger. By doing this, the REM probe will always be charged and ready to use. ## How long does it take to charge? A full battery charge takes approximately two hours. A 15-minute charge will give you at least 30 minutes of continuous measurements. ## Can I use the same REM probe tubes as with the other REM probes from Auditdata? Yes, the probe tubes are the same for all Auditdata’s REM probes. ## Can I use both a wired and wireless REM probe on the same system? Yes. At the start of the REM or SM measurement, the user can choose to use either the WL REM or Wired REM.
