Security and trust go hand in hand at Auditdata

“We are very proud to be the first in our class of Audiology solution providers to obtain this certification,” says Claus Bak Petersen, Auditdata CEO.

“We recognize safe and secure handling of information as an important element of demonstrating trust in any relationship with customers, partners, suppliers and employees and the special responsibility of privacy and data protection in relation to sensitive personal information that follows when developing Audiology office management solutions, like AuditBase and Strato. That’s why this recertification is so important to us and our customers.”

Focus on safe and secure data handling requires an updated Information Security Management System

Auditdata’s ISMS covers Information Security in relation to design, development, production, sales, servicing and cloud operations of audiological solutions. In 2012, Auditdata obtained its first ISO 27001:2005 certification in order to commit to keeping data secure and safe.

Auditdata QA, Regulatory & IT Director, Steen Schledermann“Our choice to have a certified ISMS not only facilitates the highest quality and standards of information security in both products and processes, it first of all provides a unique assurance to Auditdata customers that their Partner in Audiology Solutions is trustworthy in all aspects of a business,” says Steen Schledermann, QA, Regulatory & IT Director at Auditdata.

“The implemented ISMS ensures a strong information security awareness throughout the organization and among all employees and partners. We are especially focused on the AuditBase development, service and support and the Strato development, operations, service and support, which are areas that are specifically exposed to information security threats.”

State of the art Office Management System helps clinics gain and maintain control

Strato is an Audiology Office Management System strategically hosted and operated in the Microsoft Azure data centre. Microsoft has also decided to focus their business strategy around information security.

By obtaining not only the ISO/IEC 27001 certification, but also the new ISO/IEC 27018:2014 standard on “Code of practice for protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in public clouds acting as PII processors”, Microsoft demonstrates a strong commitment to ensure compliance to applicable legislation on privacy and data protection while operating cloud based data centres.

This particular commitment is imperative to our use of the Microsoft Azure platform. Please see the Microsoft Azure Trust Center for more information.
