Auditdata enters into strategic cooperation with Widex
Auditdata has entered into a strategic cooperation with Widex, which includes the sale of Otovation to Auditdata.
Full Otovation take-over by Auditdata
The agreement will be effective end of April 2015 and includes the transfer of the full Otovation product portfolio as well as employees. It also involves a future sales cooperation between Widex and Auditdata.
“This initiative is part of Widex’ efforts to reduce complexity and allows us to increase focus on our core business,”says Jørgen Jensen, President and CEO for Widex.“At the same time, this new strategic cooperation will enable us to maintain a close relationship with Auditdata and Otovation to the benefit of all parties involved.”
Lene Ploug Bülow, current Global General Manager of Otovation at Widex, states:“We are pleased to continue our close cooperation with Auditdata through this transaction and explore the special Widex features that are built in to Otovation products.”
Great supplement to Auditdata portfolio
President of Auditdata Claus Bak Petersen comments: “We are pleased to take over Otovation. This transaction will strengthen our position as one of the largest independent providers of diagnostics equipment in the hearing industry and is in line with our dedicated investments in diagnostic instruments over the past years.”
This new strategic partnership will be announced at the AudiologyNOW! congress in the US on March 25-27, 2015, with a joint presentation of products to current and new customers.
