Which Languages Are Available?

The initial version in Measure includes 15 languages, enabling standardized international testing. Importantly, a hearing care professional does not have to speak or understand the patient’s native language to administer and score the test. They record which words the patient hears correctly, and the software automatically adapts the SNR of the next sentence accordingly. Dutch and Russian are not currently included; language expansion is led by Hörzentrum Oldenburg.

Is This the Same Test German Audiologists Know?

Yes. It is the Oldenburger Satztest (OLSA), established in Germany, and now integrated into Measure’s modern, connected workflow. It provides a quick, reliable threshold measurement suitable for any degree of hearing loss. With unlimited repeated measurements, short sentences, and numerous language options, it’s the ideal solution for audiology enterprises everywhere.

Can I Compare Two Hearing Aids Using This Test?

Yes. Benchmark the patient unaided, then test aided with each device to demonstrate which option delivers more benefit in noise.

How is This Different than the OLSA I Already Run on Another System?

The Oldenburger Satztest (OLSA) is stronger than other speech-in-noise tests because its strictly structured five-word matrix prevents patients from guessing words using context.
