Amazing Hearing CEO Says Auditdata’s Solutions Make Their Clinics Smarter

Three years ago, audiologist Sharad Govil acquired Amazing Hearing Group, an independent hearing care provider with five clinics in Singapore, with a vision to modernize operations and build patient-centric clinics.

New Ownership: Streamlining Operations and Optimizing Business Processes

Before taking over this business, Sharad worked for the GN Group, and Amazing Hearing was his customer. After acquiring the business, Sharad quickly noticed a critical challenge: the lack of a Practice Management Software (PMS) led to poor visibility across all five clinics.

Without a centralized system, there was no clear overview of patient appointments or records, making it hard to deliver a consistent, patient-centric experience. The absence of transparency meant clinicians couldn’t easily access the information needed to provide timely and personalized care, an issue Sharad was determined to solve.

Sharad needed a secure, user-friendly solution to manage data for nearly 10,000 patients while ensuring privacy. Familiar with Auditdata's Manage Software from his time at GN, he saw it as the ideal fit. Manage’s integration of both business and clinical tools would eliminate the need for multiple platforms, improving efficiency.

After evaluating other options, Sharad chose Auditdata, and within a month, Manage was up and running in all five clinics. 

“One of the first steps I took after acquiring Amazing Hearing Group was implementing a Patient Management Software that not only protects patient data but also allows access from anywhere, anytime. Beyond streamlining scheduling and invoicing, this system seamlessly integrates with the hearing industry’s unified fitting software NOAH,” Sharad said.

Manage delivered on all counts. Since Manage is cloud-based and extremely secure, Amazing Hearing’s employees across all five clinics can use the software to collaborate – without jeopardizing sensitive patient records or financial information.

From the start, Amazing Hearing had a great experience with Manage, thanks in part to Auditdata’s excellent support team, who efficiently set up the system and trained the staff.

With Manage, all staff can access, update, and review patient information in real time. Since everything is cloud-based and centralized, employees across all five clinics can instantly see appointment availability and patient data, enabling them to schedule visits more efficiently and provide faster, more coordinated care. There’s no need to transfer files between locations—data is accessible anytime, from anywhere—giving Amazing Hearing tremendous flexibility and improving both staff collaboration and the patient experience.

Manage also provides valuable data insights. Sharad can track key details like how many patients are coming in the clinic, what services they have obtained, hearing aid purchases, warranty expirations, and outstanding invoices – all within one integrated system, a significant improvement over their previous disjointed approach.

According to Sharad, Manage has helped them save time and resources, since the PMS streamlines tasks, reduces administrative burden, and optimizes their daily operations.

Valuable Data Analytics For More Informed Decision-Making

“With Manage, I can track everything – from patient visits to purchases – all in one place,” Sharad explained. “The data analytics help me make informed business decisions, something we couldn’t do before.”

Sharad also highlighted the value of Noah Bridge, which integrates clinical and commercial data, eliminating double entry and reducing errors. Because it’s cloud-based, clinicians can access and update patient records from anywhere, even while conducting exams in the community.

Amazing Hearing Has Been Amazed by Auditdata’s Support

Although the Amazing Hearing team had never used a PMS, Sharad was pleasantly surprised by the smooth transition to Manage. He had anticipated some resistance to the change but found the process much easier than expected.

He credits Auditdata’s support department with making the onboarding so painless, as they helped set up the PMS and train the staff. Once his employees learned how to use Manage, they were very happy with it and thought it was a great system.

Sharad said he’s worked with Auditdata’s global staff, including employees based in Denmark, Australia, and Ukraine. Even though their employees are located far from Amazing Hearing’s Singapore locations, he’s been very pleased with their fast response time, ability to problem solve, flexibility, and professionalism.

Rolling Out Measure to All Their Clinics

After successfully relying on Manage, Amazing Hearing recently started using Measure, Auditdata’s suite of audiological equipment. Auditdata’s sophisticated solutions utilize data to enable more effective and accurate detection of hearing loss, improving patient care.

“Recently, we had the opportunity to test Measure, Auditdata’s newly launched sleek and compact audiometer and fitting unit, which includes wireless REM and advanced features like Speech Mapping. This solution further enhances our ability to provide high-quality hearing care and give our patients extraordinary experiences,” Sharad explained.

Sharad was impressed with Measure’s features like portability and precise diagnostic capabilities, which allow his clinicians to conduct accurate hearing exams, assessments, and fittings. Additionally, he said he likes Measure’s clean, minimalist design, and that the sleek, modern, stackable devices look beautiful in their exam rooms.

Amazing Hearing’s audiologists said this solution is easy to use, with very good visuals. They pilot-tested Measure in one of their clinics and – since it worked so well – Sharad is rolling it out to all five clinics.

“The whole automated workflow is perfect for a business like mine with multiple clinics,” Sharad said. “It ensures all our staff follow the proper protocols, and the nudging feature helps maintain a high-quality workflow.” Sharad said. “So far, my team has been using it with no issues.”

"I find the nudging prompts impressive because in our clinics, we like to test mid-octaves, the mid frequencies like three kilohertz and six kilohertz. And, because we have set up our workflows to include that, we get the nudge if anyone skips this step. That has helped our practice maintain a consistently high-quality workflow, and allowed our providers to identify hearing loss that we would not have otherwise identified."

Next Steps: Amazing Hearing Becomes Auditdata Distributor in Southeast Asia & India

Sharad is excited to announce that Amazing Hearing will now distribute Auditdata’s Measure in Southeast Asia and India. He believes Auditdata’s solutions can help audiology practices in these regions deliver the best care.
