A Decade of Success: Sonova Poland Relies on Auditdata’s Audiometers for Enterprise Solution
Sonova Poland, part of the global Sonova Group, operates under the Geers brand more than 230 hearing clinics across Poland. They’ve been a happy Auditdata customer for over 10 years, using Auditdata’s audiometers from the Measure portfolio.

A Seamless Transition to Unified Solutions Across the Enterprise

In 2013, Piotr worked as a hearing care provider for Sonova Poland. The team was juggling different audiometer brands across their clinics and was looking to streamline their hardware solutions to have a more cohesive, integrated approach across their enterprise.
When they looked at Audidata’s Measure software (formerly known as Primus), it had everything they wanted. They were pleased that the solutions were user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to integrate across their many locations.
The Measure audiometers connect to a modular, PC-based audiometry software system so hearing care providers can easily and accurately administer a wide range of audiological tests. The Measure software and hardware utilize data to enable effective and accurate detection of hearing loss, streamlining and optimizing hearing exams for more elevated patient care.
They also saw the value in Auditdata’s unique calibration service, SWAP and Asset Management, which they still rely on to this day, calibrating more than 60 transducers a month and efficiently keeping track of everything through Asset Management.
Piotr was the first person at Sonova Poland to try Auditdata’s solution in their clinic, and he was very impressed by the fully featured audiometer. Auditdata provided the tools he and his colleagues needed for precise instrument fitting and thorough testing, from pure-tone audiometry to Real Ear Measurement (REM), speech mapping, RECD, and more. Piotr found that Auditdata’s equipment was comprehensive yet simple to use, allowing him to focus more attention on his patients – not on figuring out complex equipment.
An Ideal Solution for Large Enterprises
As a large enterprise with many clinics, flexibility and scalability are very important for Sonova Poland as the organization continues to grow.
Piotr said Auditdata’s solutions have many valuable benefits that other brands simply don’t offer.

He emphasized that working with Auditdata means that Sonova Poland can feel confident that the software and hardware will work well together. Another key benefit is that Measure can scale as the organization continues to grow.
Piotr said that leadership team and the clinicians across the enterprise appreciate how Auditdata’s solutions unify all symbols in audiometry, which they can easily upload to their audiometers. He said the software for the audiometers is ergonomical and simple for their employees to use.
Another benefit for Auditdata customers – especially the larger enterprises like Sonova Poland – is the ability to centralize data. Using the software, hearing clinics can centralize settings in the cloud, then roll out information to all the different devices across the organization. For instance, Sonova Poland started out by centralizing the word list for speech audiometry across their hearing clinics. This helps ensure consistent, high-quality testing, exams, and data.
According to Piotr, the comprehensive, user-friendly solutions are the reason that Sonova Poland has stayed with Auditdata for more than a decade – and continue to be a loyal customer.
Calibration With No Service Interruption or Downtime

Sonova Poland is also pleased with Auditdata’s unique and convenient SWAP calibration service, which simplifies calibration and eliminates clinic downtime. Before their old transducers are due for recalibration, Auditdata ships calibrated ones right to their clinics' doorsteps. Their clinicians can simply plug in the new transducers and they're all set – and have no service interruption or downtime. Clinicians can continue seeing patients – and don’t have to wait for a service technician to come calibrate their equipment. Then, the clinics’ staff just mails back the old transducers to Auditdata. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
“From the point of view of a hearing care provider, the calibration of Auditdata’s headphones is simple. We simply connect them to the unit. The calibration of the free field speakers is something we can easily do by ourselves,” Piotr explained. “From the point of view of our headquarters, is that we can manage all the hardware internally. Our IT department knows exactly which things go where, which parts, which headphones, which bond conductor should be calibrated when. It’s a great solution.”
Training the Team is Simple and Effective
Now, in the role of Training Manager, Piotr has an important advantage: he used Auditdata’s solutions himself when he was a hearing care provider. Therefore, he can leverage this first-hand experience as he helps Sonova Poland’s staff learn how to use the Auditdata solutions. He said the Measure software makes it easy to onboard new staff, because of the user-friendly and intuitive user experience.

When employees start training and onboarding at Sonova Poland, they spend about 15-20 minutes trying out the software. Then he shows them how to do audiometry measurement using this equipment. He points out all the functions and features that are available within the software, and the new employees overwhelmingly agree that it’s an ideal solution that provides everything they need in one central place.
Superior Support & Customer Service
Over the years, Sonova Poland has relied on Auditdata’s support team for help. Piotr mentioned how valuable the support staff have been in addressing their needs, answering their questions, and troubleshooting any issues.
Piotr explained that every person that he’s talked to at Auditdata has been extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and professional, and he’s been happy with the exemplary customer service Auditdata has provided.
Analytics is a Priority Moving Forward
Piotr said another great aspect of Measure is the analytics tool. One of Sonova Poland’s priorities in the future is to make the most out of the data that Measure provides, allowing them to standardize care in their organization.
“All the things in our organization are connected: our employees, our headquarters, the process in the clinics. So, we look at Auditdata’s software, programs, and tools, determining how to use them for the greatest benefit across our enterprise,” Piotr added. “We use Measure, which works well for us, and gives us the information we need. And there are things like analytics that can help us gain valuable insights in the future.”
