Features such as aggravation curves, masking levels, auto-connection of unmasked and masked thresholds, HL and SPL representation, extended range etc. are included.

Definable settings for increased usability

Threshold symbols and line drawing is user configurable. Audiograms can be viewed in split or large mode and stored audiograms can be placed on top of each other for inspection.

Interface with standard instrumentation

Auditbase is equipped with an interface to measuring instruments, including audiometers and impedance instruments for reflex and tympanogram measurements.

Auditbase features a full interface to the NOAH Engine and includes an AudiLink interface for direct connection to equipment supported by a certified AudiLink driver.

You have full integration with the Primus Fitting System including an AuditBase-Primus control panel as well as equipment from the leading equipment manufacturers, which makes it possible to do measurements without having to open the fitting module.

Appointment booking

With Auditbase, each staff member is equipped with his/her own electronic time manager in which you can book even complex recurrent appointments. Each staff member will be notified either at log in or on screen of new appointments or tasks, helping them to optimize their work flow.

Monitor client progress

The tools available in the appointment book, make it possible to monitor a client’s progress at the clinic.

The statuses to be associated with an appointment can be e.g. A/arrived, C/cancelled, L/left, DNA/did not arrive. To save time, one status can be chosen as the default status when booking appointments.

The booking screen can be set to automatically refresh according to your clinic’s needs, so you are always looking at the most up to date information.

 

Quick overview

Each booking holds the following information to provide a quick overview:

  • Date and time
  • Timetable and appointment symbol
  • Letter printed or orally notified; marked with X
  • Status; can be selected from list and will thus show after client/reservation name if the appointment/reservation involves resources other than the one showing in appointment book
  • Reason for the appointment
  • The appointment’s outcome status
  • Further information about appointment, e.g. special preparations to be made by audiologist in advance
  • Option to display diagnoses attached to each appointment

Further, the user can compute the length of the queue and book patients for the ENT specialist, the audiologist or for ear-mouldtesting.

 

Multi resource planning

Client Information

The client information screen gives an overview of the client’s personal data. You can search for clients via function keys throughout the program at all time.

Central client database

Auditbase has a central client case record database in which all data concerning the client is stored. This data include among others:

  • Basic client’s information, name, client number, birthday, ID numbers (such as National Health Security number in the UK).
  • Address, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses.
  • Medical information such as referring physician, and medical background.
  • Audiograms and other hearing test results transferred directly from Noah-compatible measurement modules.

 

Easy accessibility

Electronic storing of client information has one overall advantage: easy accessibility!

Any client information can be found by doing a simple search on the client’s last name or using more complex search criteria, such as a hearing aid serial number.

The data is retrieved instantly from any computer in the network, even at an off-site location.

  • A complete history of chart notes, appointments, purchases, repairs and other activities performed with or for the client.

Quick registration of patients

You can save time for your administration staff by using a touch screen for self-registration. The Auditbase Check-in is a program that will run on the touch screen, while sending and receiving data from Auditbase.

When patients arrive for an appointment, they are met with a touch screen welcoming them to the clinic. They follow a short, easy registration process during which Auditbase recognizes the patient and sends a notification to the Booking module that the patient has arrived.

 

Instant notifications for a faster patient flow

Technical details

  • Auditbase uses a separate tool on the server, which is installed by an Auditdata supporter with assistance from local IT
  • The SMS must be created by a separate provider from an email sent from Auditbase using SMTP
  • The patient’s mobile number is used as a variable for inclusion in the email address or subject
  • Non-numeric characters are stripped from mobile numbers
  • Multiple simultaneous configurations can be used where multiple databases are in use
